We are a group of 30 democratically elected young people from each of the three clusters across Kingston and Richmond boroughs

We have been elected by 13,000 young people from Schools, colleges and youth clubs across Kingston and Richmond to proactively represent your views to people who make key decisions about young people in both boroughs. Our term of office is for two years. We have been working fervently, finding out the views of young people to establish a clear picture of their issues, aspirations and concerns.

We have undertaken this by a number of different borough wide consultations, such as the following:

  • Richmond Children and Young People’s Plan
  • Young People and Smoking Cessation peer research
  • Sexual Health peer research
  • Visiting various youth clubs and schools
  •  Young People and Stop and Search peer research
  • Young People and Safeguarding peer research
  • Young Carers peer research project
  • Mental Health and Young People peer research
  • NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training) young people – peer research into NEET young people

  • Safeguarding – Peer research into young people’s understanding of safeguarding and knowledge of local support services.
