Description of activity
Kids Come First is a specialist support forum created for separated parents to encourage the sharing of information & experiences within group sessions. We deliver a unique adult teaching workshop of child-focused material with specialised guidance & advice to help parents cope better and move towards more positive separated co-parenting.
What’s it all about?
Kids Come First is a support forum for separated parents which was set up to encourage the sharing of information & experiences within caring, confidential group sessions. In the group we present a unique adult programme of customised child-focused teaching materials, designed to offer helpful guidance & advice for more effective, separated co-parenting. Two qualified adult teacher trainers with extensive experience in child counselling and family mediation run each course. Together they provide an arena where separated parents receive structured, tailor-made support during this difficult time.
How will it help me?
Becoming a separated parent can be a dramatic change and a process that takes time to adjust & adapt to. Parents sometimes find themselves struggling to maintain an effective co-parenting relationship with their ex-partner and this may have a negative impact on their children. By providing the right support & advice, at the time you need it most, we help you cope, so your children can too!

What if I am already going through court proceedings?
