Description of activity

Marston Avenue is a homely and highly recommended adult respite/short break service in Chessington. It is a self contained ground floor flat, with shower room, kitchenette, bedroom and living room. We can offer a full 24 hour support service down to a few hours support for those that need it. We work flexibly to help you maximise your care budget and to ensure that support is focused on the areas that are important to you. We work by a 1:1 support ratio and are ideal for people requiring intensive support or who benefit from a quieter environment free from crowds.

The flat is booked in 24 hour slots and can range anywhere from a night to 6 weeks, with support offered flexibly within this period. Along with the normal care provisions including personal care, we specialise in developing independence and living skills and can cater for people that just need a few hours support as well as 24 hour continuous support.

As a 1:1 service we are able to offer as bespoke a service as possible for adults (18+) with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health Disorders, Autism and older people), tailoring the support but also the rooms, to ensure individuals feel like it is their space when they are with us.

We have a car, but are also have great public transport links. We like to give the opportunity to use the service as a holiday away from home or a building space for developing skills for the future. Individuals can therefore continue to Travel Train or have the option of the car.

We are an experienced and energetic staff team that enjoy going out to do different activities. We work with individuals and families to ensure that they get lots out of their time with us.

We are CQC registered and on Sutton Council and Kingston Council Approved Providers list, but can be accessed through other Social Services or privately.

Please feel free to call and chat about your needs, whether it be for now or in the future. You can also visit our website
