Following the success of last year’s World of Work Roadshow, Kingston and Richmond Education Business Partnership are delighted to be hosting this year’s Roadshow.
The Careers Roadshow is to inform and inspire the young people of the boroughs of Richmond and Kingston and we hope that 1200+ students and young people (aged 15-18) attend throughout the day to find out more about jobs, apprenticeships, internships and graduate schemes from around 70 exhibitors.
The first hour of the event will probably be the quietest (between 11am and 12pm) and is especially aimed at young people with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) and parents are welcome.
We will also be having an awards ceremony from 11.00 - 11.45hrs for the young people with SEND who have completed their travel training successfully. This will take place in the Debentures lounge with the Mayors of Richmond and Kingston giving out the awards. After the awards the mayors will be coming to look around the event.
Students can download an information pack below to find out more about the day and discover which employers and providers will be attending.
